Bushel Plus Founder & Chief Executive Officer Marcel Kringe was honoured to be a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (Manitoba) on January 17, 2023. Kringe was selected to receive the prestigious award by Honourable Reg Helwer, MLA for Brandon West, and is among a distinguished group of individuals recognized for their outstanding community service aimed at enhancing Manitoba.
“It’s an honour to be selected alongside these other great individuals who have made such a positive impact in their community,” said Kringe, after receiving his medal during the presentation ceremony held at Brandon University’s Lorne Watson Hall in the Queen Elizabeth II Building. “I love to see that the hard work of our team is getting noticed.”
2022 marked the 70th Anniversary of Her Late Majesty’s accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada. This is a significant milestone celebration of her dedication to public service and the country by recognizing those who have shown the same commitment.
“Through his entrepreneurial spirit and public service efforts, Marcel has made a significant impact on the agriculture industry and the province at large,” said Helwer. “We were pleased to present him with this award.”
